CPH Village Refshaleøen is a relatively new container village located on Refshaleøen near the canals of Copenhagen. In November 2017, the first 88 out of a total of 2,500 planned student accommodations were opened, spread across 10 container villages in Copenhagen. The initial 88 student accommodations consist of 2 rooms, accommodating a total of 176 students. In the summer of 2018, new container accommodations were opened once again. These container accommodations are essentially studio apartments that come with a kitchen, while the bathroom is shared with the other resident of the container. It is an ambitious project aimed at addressing the housing needs of students in Copenhagen.
