Application periods for this Nørrebro dorm
This popular dorm in Nørrebro accepts motivated applications during fixed application periods each year: March 1-15, June 1-15, September 1-15 and December 1-15. Applications are only accepted during these windows, and anything sent outside those dates will not be considered. It is therefore a good idea to start your application well in advance, so you have time to review and sharpen it before submitting. The dorm is very popular because of its great location in Nørrebro, close to Fælledparken and within easy reach of central Copenhagen, as well as its low monthly rent of 3,665-3,832 kr. There are also good facilities, attractive shared kitchens, bathrooms and a unique social community that can make student life even more memorable.
Application
All students enrolled in an SU-eligible bachelor’s or master’s programme can submit a motivated application for a room at the dorm. You can apply no earlier than three months before your expected start of studies. Motivated applications are accepted only during the periods March 1-15, June 1-15, September 1-15 and December 1-15, and applications sent outside these windows will be discarded.
Facilities
The dorm offers a shared lounge, bar, kitchens, bathrooms and a bookable sauna. Residents also have access to a sewing machine for creative projects and a bike basement where they can repair their bicycles. A large share of the residents are selected through the motivated application process. If you are selected this way, you must still complete the online waiting list registration.
