Canvas Student Nordhavn is 275 new student apartments centrally located in the new and modern Nordhavn district, surrounded by harbor baths, cafés and shops.
The student housing, like the rest of the housing in Nordhavn, is sleek and modern with many attractive shared facilities. Residents of these student residences will enjoy a rooftop terrace, a fitness center, a reading room, and a café, among other amenities. In addition, community can be cultivated in the 15 communal kitchens, with space for cooking, communal dinners, video nights and other events.
All student accommodation has a private shower/toilet and a trinette kitchen or a standard kitchen. The homes vary in size and there are five different home types, which you can see below.
The homes are between 16 and 34 square meters.

Standard Plus Studio with kitchen – from DKK 10,250 per month, including kitchen and bathroom.

The deposit corresponds to two months’ rent (June 2026).

How to apply
Apply directly via the Canvas Student application form, which takes around 10-15 minutes to complete.
To be eligible for student housing here, you must be between 18 and 30 years old, enrolled in or admitted to a higher education program and have at least 6 months left in your program. The form must be filled out with information about yourself and a motivated application. You will then receive regular information about student housing and be asked to confirm that you are still interested in keeping your place on the waiting list. Your motivated application will be judged on your enthusiasm for living in the dormitory and how you will and can contribute to the community. In addition, the dorm aims for a diverse resident environment and will try to admit residents with the idea of having different residents based on age, gender, and field of study.
Location
Canvas Student Nordhavn is 15 minutes away from the city center by bike. Near the youth housing is also Nordhavn St., from where you can take the metro and S-train around Copenhagen or out of the city. The youth housing is located right next to Nordhavn’s attractive and popular harbor baths. In the modern and newly built district, you’ll find everything from restaurants and cafés to various shops, grocery stores and a movie theater. The nearest grocery stores are Meny and Lidl.
