Stærevej was originally a nursing home, but in 2011 the building was completely renovated and an additional floor was added to create a dormitory. Today, the dormitory consists of 80 modern residences with private bathrooms and kitchens, suitable for two people. It is also allowed to have children in the dormitory.

Rent

The rent at Stærevej depends on the size of the residence and ranges from 5,585-6,609 DKK/month including electricity, heating, water, antenna fee, and cleaning of common areas (March 2023).
It is possible to apply for housing allowance.
Deposit: The deposit amount also varies depending on the residence, just like the rent. The range for deposit and pre-paid rent is indicated below (Feb 2021):
