The architecturally award-winning residence hall with 360 rooms is built in a circular design that encloses a green atrium at its center. In addition to its fantastic location surrounded by green spaces, it’s less than a 15-minute bike ride from Copenhagen City Hall Square.
The social life at the dormitory primarily unfolds in the shared kitchens. Each kitchen is shared by twelve rooms, encouraging daily interaction among residents. In addition, all residents can gather for parties, in the café, or at other community events.
The dormitory offers both one-room and two-room apartments, with either a French balcony or a large balcony. Each room has a private bathroom, and residents also have access to a wide range of attractive shared facilities such as communal kitchens, balconies, a reading room, a party room, and a billiard room.
In other words, if you get a place here, you’ll gain much more than just a place to sleep.
Rent ranges from DKK 4,022.97 to DKK 6,969.37 per month, excluding utilities such as electricity, water, heating, and radio/TV license fees, but including internet and telephone service. The cost of electricity, water, and heating is approximately DKK 400 per month. The apartments are between 26 and 45 m2, consisting of 6 one-room units from DKK 4,022.97 and 3 two-room units from DKK 6,657.71 per month.
Application The dormitory accepts applications four times a year. In 2026, the application periods run from April 9 – 15, July 31 – August 6, and October 22 – 28. Please note that applications received outside these periods will not be considered. In the current application round, there are 9 available apartments in total: 6 one-room units and 3 two-room units.
Part of the application process includes submitting a motivated application of no more than one A4 page. This is your opportunity to influence the selection process in your favor.
In your motivated application, you should describe why you wish to live at the dormitory and how you can contribute to its community life.
