Jomsborg is an old and traditional student collective located in the inner part of Frederiksberg, situated on a side street off Gl. Kongevej. It is home to a total of 19 students from various fields of study, including natural sciences, social sciences, humanities, and medicine, from institutions such as the Engineering School, University of Copenhagen (KU), Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University (KVL), and the Design School. Jomsborg was founded in the year 1900 by the artist Troels Trier and was originally only for male residents. In 1944, Jomsborg moved to its current location on Lykkesholms Allé. In the 60s, the property was renovated, and in the 70s, the admission of female residents began.
Today, the residents share expenses for food, laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, and similar items, and have meals together every evening. Additionally, the collective has established a
