Sjællandshuse is a public housing association located in Copenhagen’s Sydhavn, close to Sydhavn Station and adjacent to Vestre Kirkegård (Western Cemetery). Out of approximately 260 apartments, 10 of them are reserved for young individuals. The ground-floor apartments have their own garden, while others have balconies. Owning one earmarked cat is permitted in the association.

All apartments have their own bathroom and kitchenette. There are two different types of apartments, as described below.

Rent

1-room – 32-39 square meters. 2,280 – 3,606 DKK per month, including advance payment for heating and cable TV (May 2023).
2-room – 39-53 square meters. 3,011 – 4,257 DKK per month, including advance payment for heating and cable TV (May 2023).

Deposit: Upon moving in, a deposit of 8,954 – 12,320 DKK is required (May 2023).
