Håndværker Skolehjemmet is a dormitory for all students in Copenhagen. However, if you are enrolled in a vocational education or a health-related education at one of the Copenhagen Vocational Schools, you have priority for a housing at the dormitory. The dormitory has two branches in Copenhagen, one in Valby and one in Nordvest, with 88 and 100 rooms respectively. The rooms are allocated based on where your education takes place in Copenhagen.
The rooms vary in size and layout depending on whether you will be staying at the Bispebjerg or Valby branch. However, all rooms are one-room shared rooms with a toilet and bathroom, and they will at least include the following: Two beds with mattresses, a desk with a chair, lamps, and a wardrobe.
