This Architectural Residence Hall has won a number of internationally recognised awards and it is not difficult to see why!
The round building with all the rooms facing the outer side of the structure, encircles a big, planted courtyard and is set in a green environment with only a 15-minute bike-ride to Copenhagen’s town square.
The rooms
The total 360 rooms are all facing the outer side of the round structure. Common to them all is the basic shape as slices of a pie, the rooms being widest at the outer end.
The rooms are all equipped with their very own bathroom and all lead to a larger communal kitchen, which is shared by 12-13 residents.
To encourage the residents to be part of the community, there are no kitchens in the rooms and thus, all cooking takes place in the communal kitchens. All rooms have either huge window panels or a smaller or larger balcony.
The rent starts from 3.192 kroner per month, with an expenditure fee of 400 per month, which includes electricity, internet, water and heating.

Tietgen Residence Hall accept motivated applications four periods each year, next period is Ocotber 22.-28.
