Canvas Student Amager has 336 modern student housing units at Amagerfælledvej. Here you’ll have your own home, but you can also socialize with your fellow residents in the 19 different communal kitchens or on the roof terrace. In addition, as a resident, you will also have access to a reading room, group rooms and laundry facilities. The student housing is located close to the metro and you can cycle to the city center in around 10-15 minutes.
All student accommodation has a private shower/toilet and a kitchenette. The homes vary in size and there are four different home types, which you can see below.
Rent
Studio – from DKK 7.150 per month, incl. kitchenette, bathroom and access to shared kitchen.
Studio Large – from DKK 8.210 per 6month, incl. kitchenette, bathroom and access to shared kitchen.
Studio XL – from DKK 11.260 per month, incl. kitchenette, bathroom and access to shared kitchen.

Application
You can apply now to get on the waiting list for student housing at UMEUS Amager. To be eligible for student housing here, you must be between 18 and 30 years old and enrolled in, or admitted to, a higher education program. To get on the waiting list, you need to fill out a form with information about yourself and write a motivated application. You will then receive regular information about student housing and be asked to confirm that you are still interested in keeping your place on the waiting list. Your motivated application will be judged on your enthusiasm for living in the dormitory and how you will and can contribute to the community. In addition, the dorm aims for a diverse resident environment and will try to admit residents with the idea of having different residents based on age, gender, and field of study.
Location
Canvas Student Amager is located between the recreational nature area Amager Fælled and the vibrant streets of Amagerbro. Here you get the best of beautiful raw nature and Copenhagen city life – which is a rarity when living in the big city. Close to the student housing are both the University of Copenhagen and the IT University, and within walking distance, you can hop on the metro at DR Byen.
