Østervold Kollegiet was built in 1944 but has undergone several renovations since then. The building has six floors and a total of 133 rooms, with only one two-room apartment. The single rooms are 12 square meters in size, while the two-room apartment is 30 square meters. Both room types have their own bathroom and toilet.

The building also features a lovely south-facing rooftop terrace that is accessible to all residents of the dormitory.
