If you want to live centrally at an attractive rent and be part of a unique community, then this dormitory—with around 500 wonderful neighbors—is definitely something for you! With so many residents, you’re guaranteed to make new friends and connections. The dorm’s many shared facilities invite social interaction—both parties and more relaxed gatherings. For example, there are three gardens where you can barbecue, play pétanque, or simply relax on the terrace. Indoors, you’ll find a large shared kitchen, a fireplace lounge, a banquet hall, and a café.
The dorm of legendary parties
With its history, this dormitory forms a significant part of the collective consciousness of students in the capital—you haven’t “truly” been a student until you’ve attended a party here! If you dream of becoming part of this community, now is the time to act.
You will receive a response no later than eight weeks after your application has been processed, and move-in can take place no earlier than approximately two months after your application has been processed.
About the dorm
The dormitory is located just a stone’s throw from Fælledparken, on the border between Nørrebro and Østerbro. It consists of 446 single rooms and 23 double rooms, as well as a wide range of shared facilities.
The rooms are approximately 11–26 square meters in size. The single rooms start at DKK 3,120 per month, while the double rooms go up to DKK 4,860 per month in rent. This makes it one of the most affordable dormitories in Copenhagen—especially given its location between Østerbro and Nørrebro. Couples are allowed to live together in the dormitory, provided that at least one of them meets the application requirements.
All rooms have access to kitchen, bathroom/toilet and internet.
Application requirements
You may remain in the dormitory during a paid internship if the internship is a mandatory part of your studies and the workplace is located within the dorm’s admission area. For stays related to scholarships, research preparation, or similar activities that do not grant ECTS credits, a special exemption must be applied for. You must be enrolled in a study program or on approved leave, and your internship income must not differ significantly from a typical student budget.
Deadline:
Applications are processed on an ongoing basis, and the next application round is expected to open in autumn 2026.
