Nordisk Kollegium was built in 1942 and has a total of 130 rooms. It is located in the heart of Østerbro and is one of the few remaining Danish halls of residence with a shared meal plan.

Kitchen staff prepare buffet breakfast and lunch from 7-9am on weekdays and 9-11am on weekends and holidays. Dinner is served from 18:00-19:00 every day. Food is not served for one month a year (summer vacation), as well as Christmas and New Year’s Day. In the summer, the rent will be reduced by 1,100 DKK. Everyone is required to help with washing up and serving about ten times a year.

All rooms have a private bathroom, toilet and 100 mb. internet connection.

Rent

The rent at Nordisk Kollegium is DKK 5,054/month, but DKK 2,000 higher for PhD students (July 2024). Upon moving in, a one-time internet fee of DKK 200 is also payable. Please note that the rent includes a shared meal plan with breakfast
