Lanternen consists of 78 student apartments with both one and two rooms. It is located next to Campus Nordsjælland in Hillerød, with a short walk to Hillerød S-train station, from where regular trains go to Copenhagen. Lanternen was built in 2015 and is therefore relatively new and modern. The student apartments range in size from 42 to 49 square meters and come with their own balcony. All apartments also have a bathroom and kitchen. The apartments are well-lit, and there is the possibility to divide the kitchen and sleeping area. The floors are made of concrete, while the bathroom is tiled with gray tiles.
